Aarhus-based darkwave band Torch emerges from the depths, captivating audiences with their enticing, ominous, and freezing cold sound. Fusing Greenlandic and Danish influences, Torch weaves a tapestry of modern dark wave music, leaving listeners spellbound. Their arsenal consists of a cold drum machine, chorusy guitar, fretless bass, sharp synths, and distant, massive vocals, creating a sonic experience that lingers in the mind.

Drawing inspiration from gothic post-punk, melancholic cold wave, and hard hitting EBM, Torch invites you to expect distressing, longing songs, as well as bleak, hard bangers Their music immerses you in a world of haunting melodies and evocative rhythms, evoking a range of emotions with each resonating note.

In a short span of less than two years, Torch has already made their mark on the international stage, captivating audiences across Denmark, Germany, England, Estonia, Latvia, Norway, and Sweden. Their journey began with a sold-out debut cassette release at the renowned Aarhus venue, Tape, which has since closed its doors. Following their successful debut EP, the band delivered two equally hard-hitting singles, expertly mixed by the talented John R. Mirland.

Now, in 2023, Torch takes a momentous step forward with the release of their highly anticipated first album, "Leaving Me Behind," unveiled under the prestigious banner of Inåt Bakåt Records. This album is a testament to their evolution as artists and showcases their unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of the darkwave genre.

Torch is a collective comprised of Benjamin Lind Holm, whose haunting vocals and skillful synth work shape the band's ethereal soundscapes. Ivik Rosing-Johsen brings his dynamic vocals and guitar to the mix, adding depth and intensity to each composition. Completing the trio is the Josefine Hjulskov Valler, whose commanding bass lines create a powerful foundation for Torch's sonic universe.
